Silver Bay Vets Home - September 26th

Another great day at the Silver Bay Vets home was had by 6 Patriot Guards from Duluth and 5 from the Hibbing sector plus 1 from Minneapolis.We arrived at Silver Bay and met the riders from Hibbing and had a great meal at the Northwoods Cafe. We then proceeded to the vets home where the vets greeted us with smiles and handshakes while they looked at the bikes. I met a patient named Pete that is bed ridden and he spends his time drawing things like flowers and birds. Pete is a very good artist. At the end of the bingo game I witnessed an act of pure friendship. One woman had won more than her friend, at bingo and she gave her friend some money so that they both won the same amount. We left to handshakes and the vets saying come back again soon. I know that I will be at the next trip to the vets home and I hope that you will join us.
