151st FA deployments, Sunday April 19th

To all ARC's and RC's in wesrtern Minnesota and our friends in South Dakota

I trust that this is not premature, but from where I sit, it looks like everything went well. Please send me your comments and let me know how things went in your location. In Montevideo, we had five MNPGR'ers. No motorcycles, due to the extreme early morning hour and threatnening rain. We stood flag line outside of the TACC and opened doors for Soldiers and their families. As the Soldiers were loading up on the buses, we headed out to the intersection of Hwy 7 and 17th St, by McDonalds and set up a flag line. Once the buses and family vehicles past, we demissed and headed out to other locations. Mission Complete, 5:15AM, Sunday April 19, 2009

I then headed up to Appleton to assist with the send off there. We ended up with seven bikes, eight riders and a couple of cages. A couple of Soldiers from the unit, on motorcycles led the group out of town, to the Lac Qui Parle high school at which point they dismounted and waved farewell to the three bus loads of Soldiers. Mission Complete, 7:45 AM Sunday April 19, 2009

From my observation, everything went well.

Special thanks to all who helped co-ordinate these events.
