Veteran
Mission
Report

On Monday Aug. 4th, 2008 there were 16 Patriot Guard members who came to honor WWII Air Force Veteran Roland (Mac) McChesney the father of PGR member Earl Young from our Brainerd sector. We stood tall as the family and friends arrived at Osseo Church of the Nazarene for a visitation and service. We stood down for a short time during the church service and again reformed the flag line as the service ended. Earl and his family came around the flag line to thank us all for honoring their loved one. Pastor James Comfort, Pastor Jon Stoe and Funeral Director Kent Norby were great to work with on this mission. None of them had ever been involved with a Patriot Guard mission before and they expressed to me how beautiful we looked and how smooth everything we did seem to flow. Thanks to all of our members who made this mission a success.

After we stood down and the mission was complete several members ventured over to the Osseo Legion for lunch.
