Robert M. Larson (US MARINE)

The morning was chilled as it felt more like an October morning as we rode to the funeral home to honor Bob Larson. We staged at the Dairy Queen on White Bear ave in St. Paul and the thought of ice cream made some even that much colder. But the sun was shining and the sky was blue and it was a good day to honor the life of Bob Larson for his service to our country.

With 44 members we rode the short two blocks to the funeral home and parked street side. We lined both sides of the drive thru as family began to arrive. The service started at 11am, we took a short break and reformed the flagline around 11:45am as some family and friends departed. Jim Beardsley invited the group of Patriot Guard that remained inside to help eat up some of the bars that were left over and view the pictures of his brother Bob. The family was very appreciative for us being there and as Deb and I and many of you told them, it was our honor to be there.

Thank you so much to all of you that took time out of your day to make a difference and for doing the right thing!
