34th ID - Inver Grove Heights and Rosemount

Se Metro was busy Sunday afternoon/evening. We held mission two missions for Troops & Family Members at the Inver Grove Heights and Rosemount Armory's at the same time.

Inver Grove Heights: Laura L. did an excellent job covering this mission for us as the RCIC. 16 PGR Members arrived at Staging. Once the briefing was complete, the Flag Line was formed. After the Bus arrived and the soldiers offloaded to the cheers of the family members present, the Commander requested that the flag line move inside for the final formation and mingled with the recently returned soldiers and family members.

Rosemount: 35 PGR members arrived at staging, after the mission briefing was was, we moved to the lower level of the Armory to await the arrival of two bus loads of returning soldiers. The Military representative requested we wait inside the building as there was a slight delay for the aircraft arrival. Several PGR members chatted with the waiting family members. After the arrival of the soldiers and a lighting fast final formation, we dismissed.

A huge thank you to all the PGR members that made the multiple Welcome Homes this weekend. It was very busy for the PGR, but a worthwhile Mission set as we Honored those have returned and showed are support to the family members as well.

Stand By for More Welcome Homes - we aint done yet!!!!!
