Gentlemen-

I found your email addresses on the Patriot Guard website, and I wanted to ensure that I sent a thank you letter to the organizations leadership. My name is CPT Justin D, US Army, and this past weekend I saw one of the most impressive sights of my entire life. I was attending the funeral of a SFC Matt Kahler, in Granite Falls, Minnesota; where I had the opportunity to watch your organization in action.

As I was traveling to the church for the viewing, there were no less than 50 members surrounding the church. The temperature outside was barely above freezing, if that, when we arrived. The Patriot Guard surrounded the church for the many hours that the viewing took place, all while braving the freezing cold. This footprint and presence continued through the next day until the burial ceremony, where the temperature was almost -40. The men and women were so dedicated that a few of them slept in the city park one night, in some of the most extreme weather imaginable.

I had the opportunity to thank many of the members that kept us safe, and there only response was "Thank you for allowing us to honor your fallen brother". I did not want to pass up the opportunity to express my thanks and gratitude for what these men and women did. You can be assured that you have an even larger following after seeing the Patriot Guard up in Minnesota. I know that I will be a supporter for the rest of my life.

My most grateful thanks for all that the Patriot Guard does.

CPT Justin D"
